This 5 day Highlights Of Yangon & Surroundings Myanmar tour is a great way to discover Burma’s economic and cultural center. You will have the chance to see all the main sites such as the Shwedagon Pagoda and Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda as well as teashops and neighborhood temples. You will also have time to explore the city at your own leisurely pace before your Yangon experience ends.

Day 1 Yangon Arrival
Arrive Yangon. Meet at Airport and transfer to Hotel.
Welcome dinner at outside restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 Yangon - Bagan [Breakfast]
  Transfer to airport. Yangon - Bagan by flight. Transfer to hotel.
Sightseeing in Bagan: Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda; prototype golden stupa, Gubyaukgyi Temple famous for its frescoes paintings of 12th century and Htilominlo Temple where friezes and old murals can still be seen. Afternoon visit to Archaeological Museum, Ananda Temple; the most beautiful temple decorated with Terra-
Cotta Jataka, Manuha Temple; the temple of captive king of Tha-ton, Lacquerware Factory and Pyattadagyi Temple
for panoramic view of the city. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 Bagan - Heho - Inle Lake [Breakfast]
Transfer to airport. Bagan - Heho by flight. Drive to Nyaungshwe on the edge of Inle Lake and board your own local boat to take you to your hotel.
Excursion to Inle Lake; its calm waters are dotted with floating vegetation and fishing canoes, to which scenic high hills provide the perfect backdrop. See the lake's unique “leg rowers” – the Intha people row standing up with one
leg wrapped around an oar. You will see the floating gardens, growing vegetables and flowers. Stop to see silk
weaving on wooden handlooms. Visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the holiest religious site in southern Shan State and visit to one of the local floating market if coincide with the day of your visit (This region held one market in every 5 days). Also visit Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, famous for its "jumping cats”. Stop at a blacksmith shop, and other places as time allows. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4 Heho - Yangon [Breakfast] 
Transfer to Heho airport by boat and car. Heho - Yangon by flight.
Transfer to hotel. On the way to hotel, stop at Labhamuni Kyauktawgyi Pagoda to admire the beauty of the biggest
marble Buddha image and visit ‘White Elephant’. Then continue for check-in to hotel. In the afternoon, visit the capital city of Myanmar, such as the gilded Sule Pagoda dating back over 2,000 years. It is an excellent landmark where water has been encircling around the pagoda for many years (as you are required to be bare footed around the temple’s compound, you may wish to put on sandals for your own convenience) and thereafter, finally we will visit World famous Shwedagon Pagoda one of the most spectacular religious monuments on earth. Witness the Golden Dome, covered with 60 tons of pure gold, glistening as the sun sets.Overnight at hotel.

Day 5 Departure Yangon [Breakfast]
After breakfast, visit to Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha and then we have a chance to do some last minute shopping at more than 70 year old Bogyoket Market (former Scott Market) and China Town and India Town and Yangon Jetty with the nearby world famous STRAND Hotel and the old City Centre of Yangon. Later in the afternoon, we will be transferred to Yangon International airport for our return flight home.
